What is Bethel Sozo?
Sozo is a Greek word that means to save, heal, and deliver. When Jesus heals someone, the Bible uses this term. Sozo is thus a fitting name for the prophetic prayer ministry focused on inner healing and deliverance, which was developed in the late 1990s by Bethel Church in Redding, California - often referred to as Bethel Sozo to avoid confusion. In the early 2000s, Sozo was introduced to Germany by enthusiastic visitors of Bethel Church, in collaboration with the church, and has been gradually established since then. We can speak of a network of approximately 100 certified Sozo ministries in Germany as part of a worldwide network today.
Classification
The Sozo ministry sees itself as a complement to traditional counseling, focusing less on symptoms and more on the root causes of emotional wounds and barriers between God and people - with the triune God as the counselor. The foundation for healing lies in forgiveness and God's truths and promises. Sozo helps heal the relationship with God, with others, and with oneself, guiding individuals into their true purpose.
A Sozo session can be helpful if you experience the following feelings...

- You feel unlovable and have difficulty accepting love and hearing God's voice.
