We support various projects

As a non-profit organization, we support various projects. We love to promote initiatives from other individuals or organizations that align with our valus and vision. We have many ideas and are already working on additional projects behind the scenes. Get to know a project that we are supporting below.

NGO.Tools

As the P8 team, we actively accompanied and supported the development of NGO.TOOLS from May 2024 to May 2025. Promoting initiatives like this is part of our mission. We are therefore all the more pleased with this cost-effective, uncomplicated, and compact solution, which also enabled us to implement our own website with ease.

NGO.TOOLS offers a flexibly configurable toolbox with practical features such as financial accounting, website building, newsletter distribution, and donation receipts – all in one system that relieves associations and non-profit organizations and enables efficient work.

With the founding of Help NGO gGmbH, NGO.TOOLS now stands on its own. We will continue our collaboration and wish NGO.TOOLS all the best for the future and God’s blessing.

Research in the Field of "Communicating Christian Values"

As the P8 team, we aim to empower people to shape their lives based on Christian values. Therefore, from January 2024 to spring 2025, we supported and accompanied the research conducted by Dominic Peschel on the communication of Christian values in our secularized society. The goal of this research was to understand the role of churches and organizations and to demonstrate how they can influence societal developments.

An authentic and experiential culture of values, shaped by leadership figures and oriented toward societal needs, enables people to access faith in a natural and unforced way. The results of the research can be viewed here.

Villa Familia

P8-Team gGmbH financially supports Villa Familia in the area of education and also provides advisory services. In addition to building and supporting foster families, the “Kinderscheune” (“Children’s Barn”) was established. It provides a home for a total of seven children and young people of all genders between the ages of six and twelve. Children and young people with standard needs, those requiring intensive educational support, and those with disabilities are meant to find “a temporary home that lasts” here.

As early as 2021, Villa Familia acquired a property for the planned Kinderscheune. However, it was later discovered that the land was contaminated, so the Kinderscheune was implemented at a different location. In mid-2025, authorities then required the site to be remediated. Since September 2025, the contaminated soil has been removed—with the realization that the extent of the contamination was significantly greater than expected, both financially and emotionally.

The remediation has now been completed, and a family farm is being developed on the site. Villa Familia writes:
“We see this as our mission: not to view these shattered pieces as an end, but as a beginning. Just as children can experience healing from brokenness and pain, this land, too, is to be transformed—into a place of beauty, safety, and growth. For us, the remediation is more than an obligation; it is a symbol of restoration and new life.”

We supported the project in its early phase with €10,000 and continue to accompany it in an advisory capacity.

Children's Program at the 2026 Church Retreat

As part of the 2026 church retreat of the evangelical free church Gemeinde am Wetterkreuz Erlangen, the P8-Team organized a full-day children's program for the first time in April 2026. Around 20 children between the ages of three and thirteen were cared for during the adult sessions by a team of five dedicated volunteers, led by our full-time staff member, Anna Stimpfig.

The aim of the program was to give parents the opportunity to enjoy fellowship, rest, and participate in the retreat sessions while providing the children with a meaningful and enjoyable day of their own. The program focused on building community, encouraging one another, and strengthening social skills. The central theme was based on Max Lucado's children's book You Are Special, which teaches children in an age-appropriate way that every person is valuable, unique, and deeply loved.

A varied schedule featuring creative activities, games, an Olympic-style challenge, a treasure hunt, and singing together created an atmosphere of joy and excitement while fostering friendships among the children. At the same time, the volunteers gained valuable experience by serving together and further developed their personal skills through shared responsibility.

The feedback from children, parents, and the organizers was overwhelmingly positive. Many especially appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the commitment of the volunteer team, and the visible joy and well-being of the children. As a result of this positive experience, the P8-Team has already been invited to provide the children's program again for the 2027 church retreat—an opportunity we are truly grateful for.

Living Room Bamberg

Sometimes, something great begins with a simple idea. That was exactly how the vision for Living Room Bamberg was born during the 2024 Leadership Conference in Salzburg: to create a place where young adults in Bamberg could experience faith, community, and personal growth together. Together with young leaders from Bamberg and Forchheim, as well as the local Catholic Church, the P8-Team embraced this vision, connected people, and helped bring Living Room Bamberg to life.

Today, young adults between the ages of approximately 18 and 35 gather at the Dominican Sisters' Convent in Bamberg for times of worship, inspiring messages, and open conversations. But Living Room is much more than a regular gathering—it is a place where friendships are formed, Christians from different backgrounds come together, and people are encouraged to live out their faith in everyday life while taking responsibility for those around them.

We are especially grateful to see how a simple vision has grown into a vibrant community that continues to flourish, providing many young adults with a place of connection, encouragement, and personal growth.

If you would like to experience Living Room Bamberg for yourself, you are warmly invited to join us! If you have any questions or would like information about upcoming gatherings, feel free to contact us through our contact form.

A New Minibus for EC Bayern

In June 2026, the P8-Team had the privilege of supporting the purchase of a new minibus for EC Bayern. The vehicle was officially handed over on June 12, 2026, and will now be used throughout Bavaria for camps, EC youth groups, leadership training events, and the Bausteinewelten children's outreach program.

EC Bayern (Entschieden für Christus Bayern – "Committed to Christ Bavaria") supports children, teenagers, and young adults in their personal development. Through its programs, young people experience authentic community, discover their gifts, take on responsibility, and build meaningful relationships with both others and God. These are values that are also at the heart of the P8-Team's mission.

After many years of reliable service, the previous minibus had reached the end of its useful life due to increasing technical issues. We are grateful to have contributed to providing this much-needed replacement, helping to strengthen the valuable work of EC Bayern for years to come.

We look forward to seeing the many camps, events, and life-changing encounters that this new minibus will make possible in the years ahead. We are also grateful for our ongoing partnership with EC Bayern. To learn more about the work of EC Bayern, click here.
